L3 English Communication course students at French preschool

2009.07.02
The L3 students had a storytelling project in their Oral Communication class.  The goal of this project was to tell a story in English while using gesture, props, and using a loud voice.  To make this project more meaningful, we went to l`Ecole Maternelle Honoré de Balzac in St. Cyr-sur-Loire to tell our stories to preschool aged children (3-5 years old).  Ayana  told the story of Snow White, Kaede  told the story of Kaguyahime, and Yusuke  and Shunsuke  told the story of Momotaro to the children.  The children enjoyed the storytelling `show` and the students had a chance to practice their English in front of a large group of people, which is not easy.  They did great and they should feel proud of their efforts. I applaud them and thank them for their hard work!  Bravo.
